Tokyo Sushi

This is an all-you-can-eat sushi located in Downtown of Montreal. See comments below.

1805 Ste-Catherine W. Montreal, QC H3H

ButterCup thinks:
Ok, this restaurant opened last summer. It's really well located, the outside looks "chic" and clean as well as the inside. They have nice pictures of the sushi. We went there during a hot day. There was no air conditioning, so it was so so hot. They put us at a table isolated like in a box. The menu has like more than 100 choices, but one meal could have more than 1 number, choices are repetitive! You have to chose the number that you want and write down, believe it or not, we had 3 menus that were not alike. One meal could have one different number on each menu. The menu gave me headache! sushi has no taste, the rice was hard and dry, the hot meals are tasteless. After a few pieces, I just wanted to throw up! Thank God that we did not order too much. I wonder if the ingredients are fresh, trust me i have a really good stomach against all bugs! If this restaurant is your first all you can eat sushi restaurant, you will probably enjoy it a lot, but if you had tried others, i think this one is in the bottom of the list. I gave 1/10 ( 1 for the decor)

Bubbles thinks:
I've read a couple of reviews about this restaurant and most seem positive. The only positive think that came out of our experience there is the creation of this blog. We were sooooooo nauseous and uncomfortable after we ate there that we decided to get all our frustration out by writing about it via a blog. Well, YES the decor is nice. But don't be fooled by the nice tables and chairs.....cause your taste buds and stomach will quickly bring you back to reality. Once you're able to understand the ordering process and then actually order and GET the food, that's when the adventure begins. We are used to ordering a lot of food and we ALWAYS manage to get through it all. This time we got screwed "real bad". Food is tasteless, too much oil, rice is dry and the fish was disgusting. We were so nauseous and full after a few bites that in the end we decided to share ALL the remains with the toilet bowl....that's how generous we are. Good thing we had a small plastic bag with us. The Washrooms aren't that great anyways....pffff.
That's all, I won't waste anymore energy writing about it, I had an upset stomach for 3 days and that was enough.

On my Bubbles' scale: 1/10.....cause cuz it helped us create this blog

We have been wanting to try this new spot for a while, so after a very STRESSFUL shopping session, we decided, us, the 3 musketeers, to finally try Tokyo Sushi.
We almost felt inappropriately dressed when we got in...everything seemed so chic and cosy.Hmmmm...After the first or second bite, my stomach started screaming for a toilet bowl. What to do, what to do...take one of the shopping bag, empty it and fill it with unwanted food. WHAT? I already paid for disgusting food, you think I'll be paying extra for uneaten pieces???
Rice= DRY
Appetizers (without any exception)= soaken in oil
Fish= what fish????

Blossom's scale: 1/10...just because of all the laughter while we were trying to hide the food in the shopping bag
